How to Audit Automobile Moulds Effectively?

As a basic process equipment for the automobile industry, the automobile mould is an essential tool for forming automobile parts. Also, the automobile plays a decisive role in the quality of the whole vehicle while the automobile mould determines the quality of automobile parts. Therefore, the audit of the automobile mould needs to be very strict. However, currently, there is no scientific and effective universal tool to support mould audit. Therefore, the current mould audit is still an urgent problem for many automobile manufacturers.


In terms of accuracy, mould audit depends heavily on the engineer's experiences and knowledge. However, every mould engineer has different experience, especially for new employees, it needs a process of experience accumulation. In addition, different automobile mould engineers adopt different information and methods in the audit process, so the accuracy of mould audit cannot be unified.


In terms of efficiency, large-scale vehicles' projects and huge mould purchase amount increase the work intensity for mould engineers. In addition, coupled with the lack of effective tools, engineers' business processing results often fall behind the required nodes.


As a result, the current automobile mould factory combines the classical predictive analysis algorithm with the numerical strategy to coordinate the data dimensions of various moulds and convert the multidimensional data such as mould volume, weight, material price and labour cost into model parameters. Also, based on the parameter extension of business meaning, the prediction model of each type of mould is constructed by machine learning algorithm fitting.


Then, the corresponding mould cost analysis can be analysed from the perspectives of material cost, processing cost, design cost, etc. More comprehensive and accurate results could be produced.
