The mould structure
Good mould design should first meet customers' requirements, and save costs for the factory, reduce processing difficulty and shorten customers' lead time. To achieve the goal, the designers must not only fully understand the needs of clients, but also very familiar with the injection molding machine specification, mould structure, technology of mold making process and the factory capabilities.
Steel selection for double shot mould
Steel is very critical for two-shot mold. The steel should have features of toughness, wear resistance, high-temperature performance, fatigue fracture properties, resistance to cold & heat, corrosion resistance.
Tools processing, fitting and assembly
In addition to good mould design and steel selection reasonable, the accuracy of the two-shot mould is also very critical in subsequent processing, fitting and assembly. Double shot mould trial, testing and validation
In order to avoid time-wasting and energy during subsequent mass production after mould gives to customers, it is very necessary to have mould trial and testing after the mold is assembled. In HanKing, we have injection operator team responsible for mould trial, validation job, the will try different temperature under different pressure condition in order to find the best molding pressure and temperature, our project manager will take records and video for each mould trial & validation.
